Peer to peer fundraising — Make a list of everyone you know

So how many people do you know? You might be surprised what you find even though you may feel its not so many at first.

  • Family
  • Friends
  • Acquaintances
  • Neighbors
  • Coworkers

This is a good beginning. Then reach out to your family and ask “who else they know.” This is peer to peer fundraising at its finest!

Bonus tip from the scouts to make more money with cookie dough fundraising

Scouts are masters at upselling to their donors. This simply means if they buy one they might by a second one if you ask them nicely.

Now this works great if you are using the $10 cookie dough brochure we carry. At $10 almost everyone can afford to make a small donation to support your cause.

So here is the secret sauce the Scouts use to sell more fundraiser products. They simply say, “Would you like to support the troops overseas and send them a popcorn in your name?

This is genius because it works in so many ways.

It helps people feel good about helping others besides themselves.

Your group sells more products.

By the way this also works for any other group you can think of. It doesn’t have to be the troops overseas. Looking for some ideas???

The forgotten seniors at the nursing home in your community.

The local childrens cancer hospital.

Local VA hospital.

Any charity of your choice.

Ask them to buy a tub of cookie dough as a gift for someone they love

How could you do this?

The lesson? Just suppose you did this at every door? You just found a great way to increase your sales by only asking one small question.

Now go use this for your school or team.
